BOPP heat sealed composite film
BOPP thermal composite film is a type of thermal composite film made from biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) as the substrate, processed through special coating or composite technology. It is mainly used for surface composite of printing materials (such as book covers, packaging boxes, posters, etc.) to improve their wear resistance, water resistance, glossiness, and aesthetics.
1. Main features
-High transparency: Maintain the clarity and vivid color of printed materials.
-Excellent stiffness and flatness: BOPP substrate has good stiffness and anti curling performance.
-Hot melt adhesive layer: EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) or PUR (polyurethane) hot melt adhesive is usually used to ensure a strong bond.
-Temperature resistance: Suitable for the temperature of the heating roller of the laminating machine (usually 80-120 ℃).
-Waterproof and moisture-proof: Protect printing materials from moisture and stains.
-Gloss film: High gloss, enhances visual effects.
-Matte film: anti glare, improves texture.
-Scratch resistant/UV resistant: Special coating for extended durability.
2. Application Fields
-Printing and packaging: book covers, brochures, color boxes, labels.
-Commercial promotion: posters, menus, business cards, labels.
-Industrial use: Electronic product manual, waterproof map.
3. Production process
-Production of BOPP base film: Two dimensional stretched polypropylene film (to improve strength and transparency).
-Coating/Composite: Apply hot melt adhesive (such as EVA) onto BOPP substrate.
-Cutting and conveying: Cut into different widths according to customer requirements (usually 450mm/600mm, etc.).
